Fr. Charlie Becker

How Our Lady In Medjugorje & The Marian Movement Of Priests Helps Us Understand The Times We Are Living Through.

Fr. Becker is a priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago. He was ordained in 1986 and experienced a deepening of his Catholic Faith in 1989-1990 through his experiences at Medjugorje. His introduction to the Marian Movement of Priests began during his first pilgrimages to Medjugorje as a result of the undeniable spiritual fruits of the events in that graced village. The faith and prayers of the Marian Movement of Priests enriched his priestly vocation through the Rosary and our Lady's loving intercession for her priests. 

In 1990, Fr. Becker formally consecrated himself and his priesthood to our Lady's Immaculate Heart.  Fr. Charlie is honored to credit our Blessed Mother for giving him the strength and resolve to recover from alcoholism. His Marian devotion continues through prayer groups, retreats and pilgrimages to Medjugorje.
